HOW THE FNS MINI CHALLENGES WORK

Think of these short challenges as a spark of inspiration and intensity, NOT an overnight transformation. Short challenges are perfect because they’re just long enough to help you build a foundation of consistency but not too long that they’re intimidatingly unrealistic and unsustainable.

The purpose of these challenges is not extreme intensity or weight loss, but with consistency and effort, you will see results at the end of it.

These challenges are about pushing through and being consistent with your actions. You’ll learn how to focus on doing whatever it takes to reach your goals, whether it’s convenient or not. While it sounds easy and straight-forward, the hard part about committing to ANY challenge is doing the small, simple things right every day. Commitment requires you to be ALL IN and put 100% of your FOCUS AND EFFORT into EVERYTHING you do.

How It Works

The 6-week FNS Foundation Challenge is not a rapid transformation. It’s a proven system to reset your current habits and help you create a solid foundation for a healthy mind, body and lifestyle. You’ll learn how to make small, consistent changes and stick to your Game Plan and fitness goals. Over the course of the next 6 weeks, you’ll gain muscle, lose stubborn body fat and create a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. The goal is to complete 30 workouts over the next 6-weeks and lose a minimum of 3% body fat in the process.

The FNS Unbreakable Challenge is 4-weeks of training your athleticism, performance and consistency. It is designed to test your athletic ability. You’ll focus on your mindset, nutrition, training, & recovery, while increasing your athletic potential.

The DARE TO DO MORE Challenge is 4-weeks of Consistency, Focus and Attention. This Challenge is designed to be 4 consecutive weeks of a new PHYSICAL FITNESS ASSESSMENT challenge every day, to be completed in addition to your daily FNS strength and athletic training workouts.

The Purpose of this Challenge is not about extreme intensity or weight loss, although as a byproduct of your consistency and effort, you will see results at the end of it. This Challenge is about improving your training performance, as well as your mindset, focus and attention. Progress is made when you are consistent and deliberate about your actions and focusing on doing whatever it takes to reach your goals.

How It Works

The FNS Strength & Swoll Program is 3-Phase System consisting of three 4-week programs for the beginner, intermediate and advanced athlete that is looking for improvement and progression in their functional movement lifts including Push, Pull, Hinge, Squat, and Lunge. In addition to your main lifts of the day, you’ll have complementary total body compound accessory strength movements to help strengthen and condition your entire body.

The Purpose of this Program is not focused on or programed around heavy Olympic lifts OR Bodybuilding but rather, focusing on volume and building lean muscle through Athletic Functional Strength, with objective performance metrics at the beginning and end of each cycle. The goal is to become a stronger, faster and leaner athlete overall.

I'm not in yet ... I'm still not sure because: 
I'll start when I am ready.
That, my friend, is your entire problem and that is why you’re stuck where you’re at. You wait. You wait for the perfect time. You wait for the ideal conditions before you have the courage to make a move. But the entire time you’re not taking action, you’re allowing your life to pass you by, stuck in a prison of your own fear and insecurity, and that is now what living free is all about. There's never a perfect time. You'll never be 100% ready. There will always be some kind of fear and doubt, but that's the point of this Challenge: to develop the mental toughness you need to take on any obstacle that life throws your way so that no matter what happens, you have the grit and strength to deal with it and to take action. 
What happens if I miss a workout?
It's simple, you start over on Day 1. Even if you have to start over multiple times, don’t cheat yourself from doing the things that you’ve committed to doing.

If you modify the program just to say you “completed it (kind of)”, did you really succeed? No. The way you do one thing is the way you do anything so if you take shortcuts, modify your plans & goals so you can say you completed them; you know deep down that you’re only cheating yourself. You never achieve what you're actually capable of, and you'll end up feeling worse about yourself.

True confidence comes from following through with the small promises you make to yourself. THAT is accountability. 
It seems like this would be difficult to sustain. Shouldn’t I take a rest day?
The point of these challenges is to push you out of your comfort zone to tap into your true potential. You can do anything for a short amount of time if you focus on consistency, rather than intensity. It’s better to do something for 30-days straight than go all out for one or two days but become so sore that you can’t move afterwards. You don't achieve your goals by doing a program for just a few days or weeks.

Although these programs are mini sprints, they are all simply an initial kickstart to a PERMANENT & POSITIVE lifestyle change. 
What if I don’t have access to a gym or fancy equipment? 
The best part about our Program is that it’s designed to utilize whatever equipment you have available, whether it’s light-weights or body-weight movements. Your body is the best piece of equipment you possess and if used the right way, can provide you with everything that you need to create change in your body. We’ve had clients use bricks, water jugs, backpacks filled with books, you name it… no excuses. 
I’m new to working out… Are the workouts beginner-friendly?  
The great thing about our workouts are they are challenging but still suitable for athletes of all levels. How? Because while our coaches guide and demonstrate all of the movements, at the end of the day, you are in control of your effort and intensity levels. We encourage you to take breaks when you need to but also continue to challenge and push yourself however you can. You’re not in competition with anyone but yourself. 
This seems pretty easy to me. Will this actually work?
Although 4-weeks or 30-day challenges may seem easy, committing to doing something new consistently is difficult, breaking bad habits is difficult, staying disciplined, and saying no to temptations will be difficult. It will push you far more than you think and will not only change your body, but more importantly, your mindset as well.
